We are seeking a licensed Funeral Directors and Arrangers to work in a variety of situations, including planning services with the bereaved, performing services at the funeral home and at cemetery sites, as well as working with a team to prepare all necessary items needed for events and services. Compensation will be negotiated based on experience and licenses.
Responsibilities:
- Plan services with families, discussing options in a knowledgeable and gentle way.
- Have an understanding of funeral laws and customs.
- Be able to help provide funeral services for individuals and families.
- Perform administrative tasks such as obituary postings, death certificate filings, ordering printed materials, flowers, caskets, urns and other necessary items.
- Be a good listener who can offer comfort.
- Maintain appropriate business etiquette and attire at all times.
- Keep records of and execute customers' special requests.
- Prepare loved ones for burial or cremation.
- Participate in a monthly on-call schedule for loved ones in need of service at all hours.
