Ruby Hill

Ruby Charlotte Hill, 85, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, May 17, 2020. She was born June 10, 1934 in Herrin, Illinois to Carl and Ignatia Rick. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses who belonged to the Jacksonville congregation where she was a regular attendee for fifty years.  She coped with dementia, a horrific disease.  She persevered and never lost her sense of humor or love for God. She loved baking, gardening, and her family.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 66 years, Charles Hill, Sr.; sons, Mark Hill (Connie) and Charles Hill, Jr. (Stephany); two grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required at all times (not provided by funeral home).  Fifty attendees or less.  Maintain social distancing. No hugs or handshakes please.
