Richard Moore

Richard Monk Moore, 73, of Cabot, passed away August 21, 2020. Born in Little Rock to George Ralph "Johnny" Moore and Prue Monk Moore, he was a U.S. Army veteran and retired as Vice-President of Dillard’s Department Stores after 40 years of service.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife, Francies “Fran” Lee Moore; son, Chris Moore of Texas; daughters, Bobette Leggett of Little Rock and Kristy Lamb (Andy) of Cabot; sisters, Karen Crowson (Mike) of Hot Springs Village and Kathy Hollingsworth (Kenny) of Arkadelphia; brother, Ronnie Moore (Judy) of Springdale; grandchildren, Andrea Lamb Shelby (Scott) and Steven Lamb (Leah), both of Cabot, Elizabeth Leggett of Denver, Colorado and Lauren Eldridge (Justin), of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Eli Shelby, Ava Shelby, Ellie Eldridge and Mason Lamb; special friends, Marshall Galloway and Forrest Dunlap; and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be held on Monday, August 24 at 10:00 a.m., preceded by visitation beginning at 9:00, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 909 W. 2nd St., Little Rock, AR 72201, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Alzheimer’s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Dr., Little Rock, AR 72205.
