Mary Landrum-Horton

Mary Jo Landrum-Horton, 79, of Maumelle went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 13, 2020. She was born on September 21, 1940 in North Little Rock to Thomas and Mary Landrum.

Before retirement, Mary Jo lived and worked in Northern California where she enjoyed a long career as a Nurse. Through the years she gained experience in many areas in her field, she found her true passion in Labor and Delivery where she excelled and soon became the charge nurse and skilled in high risk deliveries. Her knowledge and experience along with her leadership abilities made her an ideal instructor for others in this field.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Everett Leon Horton. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Tony) Davenport-Campanale, of North Hollywood, California; son, Robert Kent Davenport, of North Little Rock; four grandchildren, Philip (Ashley) Davenport, John (Tori) Davenport, Stephen (Melissa) Davenport and Mary (Jeremiah) Holman; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Haley, Barret, Colin, John Davenport, Emily and Daniel Holman and two sisters, Betty Jean Hamilton, of California and Peggy Landrum of North Little Rock.

Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2020.
