Martha “Marty” Lukas, 70, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away on April 3, 2020. She was born on September 10, 1949 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Theodore and Agnes Lukas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, David Lukas.

She is survived by her sister, Janie Althoff; niece, Karen (Allan) Banaszak; and nephews, Steven (Amber) Althoff, Brian (Kristy) Montgomery, and Mike Montgomery; seven great-nieces and nephews; a great-great nephew; and a four-legged fur baby, Brodie.

She retired as a manager after thirty years at the Arkansas State Revenue Department. She was a very giving person and was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Marty was active at The Center on the Lakes in Maumelle, where she never met a stranger. In her earlier years, Marty loved to water ski, ride motorcycles and play softball.  She had numerous friends, including her friend of thirty years, Sharon Henriksen.

There will be a viewing from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be private. Burial will be at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.

Because Marty was such a giving individual, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
