John Clay, Jr.

John Calvin Clay, Jr., 63 passed away March 24, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ.  John grew up in North Little Rock, served in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver.  He enjoyed gardening, especially growing tomatoes.  He was an avid chess player and adored his cats. In his spare time, John enjoyed camping and hiking in Utah.

Survivors include his mother; Mabel Morden Clay; sister: Anne (Terry) Fugatt of Phoenix, Arizona; one niece, Carolyn Alton; two nephews, Michael McCravey and James Kinzy Clay.

He is preceded in death by his father, John Calvin Clay, Sr. and siblings: James David Clay and Barbara Hillhouse.

An open visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., Friday, April 3, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

Private Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park
