Jay Brown, Jr.

Jay J. Brown, Jr., 68, of North Little Rock passed away May 16, 2020.  He was born November 20, 1951 in Bexar County, Texas to the late Jay J. Brown, Sr., and Ruby Doris Steussy Brown.  Jay served in the U.S. Air National Guard.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Jay is survived by his high school sweetheart, and wife of 44 years, Cindy Nease Brown; three children:  Andrea Brown, Jessica Brown Lowder and husband Jason, and Thomas Jayson Brown; four grandchildren: Shelby and Cassidy Brown and Athena and Toudy Lowder; sister, Susan B. Adams; and many extended family members and friends.

A visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 1, 2020 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Inurnment with military honors will be later at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemeter y.

State of AR COVID-19 directives: Face coverings required at all times. Eighty attendees or less for Visitation and Rosary for Jay Brown. Two-hundred attendees or less for Memorial Mass at church.   Maintain social distancing. No hugs or handshakes please.
