Harry Edward Springsteen, Jr., 78 of Pangburn, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, January 30th, 2020. He was born in Burlington, Iowa on December 23, 1941 to the late Harry Edward, Sr. and Fern Hannah Irene Brown Springsteen. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran and is survived by his wife Arey Springsteen; children, Craig Springsteen (Rachel), Kipp Springsteen (Kris), Colin Cleveland, Dana Covington (Shannon), Velina Harper (Danny), Leland Cleveland (Kelly), Sherlon Webb (John), Darrell Cleveland (Mary Lou), Travis Cleveland (Amanda); grandchildren, Katelyn, Kaden, Khloe, Kyler, Ashley, Logan, Sarah, Justin and sixteen great grandchildren.
Harry was in the Marine Corp for thirteen years and lived in many different places and retired to Pangburn, Arkansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He also loved his dogs, Chance and Charlie. He taught his parrot, Scarlett, to talk and would enjoy nightly conversations with her. He raised pigs for several years and enjoyed this hobby.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m., February 4, 2020 at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood) with visitation one hour prior to service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Committal at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery will be at a later date.
