Brian Young

Brian Russ Young, 48, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. He was born January 12, 1972 in Newport, Arkansas. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Brian was the front house manager for Betsy Robinson’s Bridal Collection.  He enjoyed life, family, cooking, water skiing and being at the lake, snow skiing, travel, museums, art and antiquing.

Brian is survived by his husband, Drew Vanlandingham; parents; Nancy Cash Young and Ronald “Tuffy” Young; brother, Ronald Blake Young (Holly); nephew and niece, Kylan Blake Young, and Loren McKenna Young; grandmother, Eva Baker Young; mother and father-in-law, Barbara May and Steve Vanlandingham; sister-in-law, Haley Vanlandingham Riemenschneider (Danny); and nephew, Ean Daniel Riemenchneider; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Norma Nance Cash; and his paternal grandfather, Norman Young.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2020 at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 12415 Cantrell Road, Little Rock. Services will be 12:00 noon, Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the church. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m., Saturday at Gracelawn Cemetery in Tuckerman, Arkansas. There will be no procession.

Pallbearers are Jim Young, Chris Weaver, Brent Weaver, Ken Brown, Danny Riemenscheider, and Nate Gerraputa.  Honorary Pallbearers are Kylan Young, James Young, Tommy Young, Danny Cash, Brad Cash, Doug Cash, Mickey Sutterfield, Mark Ladd, Dustin Spencer, Torree Sowell, Chad Kelly, MaryAnn Garren, Shannon Gerraputa, Tyler Vanlandingham, Erik Westlake, Gretchen Skinner, Dina Ifrah, Tina Wolfe, and Tuckerman High School Class of 1990.

The “Celebration of Life Service for Brian Young”  for all our BALTIMORE East Coast Family will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday February 27, 2020 at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church,Cockeysville, MD 21030.  This will be a service to honor him and celebrate a man that made us all so incredibly happy for such a long time. The service will be from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. There will be a reception at the church following the service with light fare and celebration.
