Bobby Dale Jones, age 60, passed away surrounded by his children and the love of his life on December 11, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas after a long battle with health issues.
Bobby, born on March 22, 1960 in Newport, Arkansas, was the first of five boys to Dickey and Sue Jones. He had a happy childhood and beautiful memories of growing up in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Northeast High School with the Class of 1978. He went on to study business and accounting at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. He transferred to the University of Arkansas Little Rock where he graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Bobby worked in accounting and sales throughout his life. Everywhere he went he met many friends and was loved by many people around the world.
Bobby had six children who were his pride and joy. He loved to brag on how amazing all six of them are. Bobby met “his best friend, his angel, the love of his life”, Leslie Denise Hicks in 2014. He loved telling everyone how she was what he had been looking for his whole life. They truly made each other immensely happy. Bobby became a grandfather in 2006 and he was so ecstatic to have his first grandson. In 2009 and 2016, he had his second and third grandsons. He loved these boys more than the world. He would teach them cool tricks and showed them so much love.
Bobby loved music and drawing. Bobby enjoyed going fishing and exploring nature. He would sit and reminisce about the good times. He loved to play sports, especially basketball. He loved cheering on his children at the games. He was their biggest fan.
Bobby was faced with many trials in his years, but he never gave up. He used his faith in God to overcome those obstacles. He proved that he was stronger than all of those battles. He had many friends who walked through life with him. Bobby had a strong faith in God no matter how hard things would get.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Dickey Dale Jones, and his son, Nicholas Daniel Jones. Bobby is survived by his mother, Sue Jones of North Little Rock, his children, Alyson Jones of North Little Rock, Kristin Jones (Anthony Owens) of Jacksonville, Tanner Jones of North Little Rock, Sara Jones of Ruston, LA, and Michael Sisk of Little Rock, his grandchildren, Macon Brewer, Jr, Houston Brewer, Epic Candler, and Laniesha Owens, his brothers Mickey (Oonna) Jones of St. Augustine, FL, Dave Jones of Branson, MO, Billy (Sara) Jones of Sherwood, and Scott Jones of Conway.
