Maxine King

Maxine King, 92, of Little Rock, passed away December 25, 2020. Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ruth Ann Reeves Mills, two brothers and three sisters, she is survived by her husband of 65 years, Shannon King; sons, Timothy King and wife, Annelle, of Little Rock, and Clay King and wife, Vicki, of Dover; and five grandchildren.

Maxine graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Bookkeeping from Draughon’s School of Business and went to work for Allied Arkansas Bearing Company.  She was a self-employed business owner and bookkeeper for Shannon King Company and King’s One Stop, former president of the Pulaski County School District PTA, member of the Lions Club, and of the Baptist faith.

There will be open visitation on Thursday, December 31 from 9 a.m.-12:00 p.m at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be Saturday, January 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Martindale Cemetery.
