Mary (Wilson) Wilkerson

Mary Elizabeth (Wilson) Wilkerson, 73, of Jacksonville passed from this life on August 31, 2021. She was born November 5, 1947 in Little Rock to the late John and Madia (Mathis) Wilson.

Mary was a woman of exceptional faith, always faithful to her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She always loved attending worship services and sharing her love for Jesus with anyone who wanted to know. Her hobbies included gardening, keeping her home clean and comfortable, and shopping. Mary spent many years working at the Little Rock Air Force Base. All who were privileged to know her will always remember her as a loving, caring and faithful woman.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband and best friend of fifty-two years, Jimmy Wilkerson; daughter, Kathy Wilkerson of Cabot; grandchildren, Randall (Miranda) Billingsley of Conway and Brittany Maples of Jacksonville. Other survivors include great-grandchildren, Aubrey Laster, Jacari Thomas, Matthew and Regina Billingsley; siblings, Woodrow (Viva) Wilson or Lonoke and Brenda Hefner of Sherwood; along with a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home with Dr. Reverend John Scheel officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the funeral home.
