Zona Stafford

Zona “RoRo” Stafford, 80, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on June 2, 2020. She was born on May 26, 1940 to Wilbur and Christine Hoke. She worked in the automobile industry for thirty plus years. Zona was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood. She loved shopping, socializing, sharing meals with her friends and traveling to see her relatives. “RoRo” was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived life to the fullest.

She is survived by her children, Ronald G. Stafford, Jr., Lisa Bell (David), Christina Stafford Walters (Brian Flood); grandchildren, Jennifer Davis (Jose Baez), Andrew Davis, Ronald Corey Stafford (Misty), Ashton Christine Lewis, Brian Bell, Sarah Marie Walters; great-grandchildren, Kaidence, Kaelynn, and Kameron Stafford, Sophia and Nicholas Baez, Chandler Walters; siblings, April Gwinn (Lonnie Warwick), Wilbur Dale Hoke (Jo Lynn), Melody Hoke Davis (James), brother-in-law, Luigi Stella; sisters-in-law, Nancy Guinn (Wayne), Deanna Stafford, Faye Stafford; and other extended family and friends.

Zona was preceded in death by her husband and best friend of fifty-two years, whom she met in the first grade, Ronald G. Stafford; sister, Mary Stella; and grandson, William Hayden Walters.

A Celebration of her Life will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 8, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Sherwood. Visitation will follow service at 10:45 a.m., burial with her Ronnie will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
