Zona Faye Davis age 71 of Bearden died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Little Rock. She was born September 29, 1937 in Grant County Arkansas the daughter of the late Willie and Stella Ross Childers. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of forty-five years, Javis Davis; four sons, Joel Gray of Bearden, AR; Billy Gray of Denver, CO; John D. Davis of Sparkman, AR; David Davis of Hot Springs, AR; one daughter, Vicky Davis of Thornton, AR; two sisters, Annalee Alexander of Little Rock, AR; Evaleen DeLamar of Manning, AR; one sister-n-law, Mary Childers of Manning, AR; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2009 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Caddo Valley with Bro. Eddie Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Lono Cemetery near Malvern. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
