Zita Casey

Zita Anne Frangenberg Casey passed from this life on August 9, 2010 at the age of 95 years. She was the wife of Curtis Franklin Casey, who preceded her in death, and the mother of William Casey, Patricia Casey Gaines, Andrew Casey and Michael Casey. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Zita was born at home in Pocahontas, Arkansas, the third daughter of a large German immigrant family. She lived most of her life in Little Rock with the exception of her retirement years which were spent in Hot Springs. The focus of her life was her faith and her family. Zita is a member of the Catholic Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 12 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by the Rosary at 7:00. The Funeral Mass will be Friday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, celebrated by Rev. Josh Stengel. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Msgr. Francis Allen Trust and Development Fund, 1003 N. Tyler St., Little Rock, 72205.
