Zetta Friday
Zetta Friday, of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013. She was born in Little Rock on September 27, 1949 to Cecil and Verna (Stafford) Burks. Zetta spent all of her adult life volunteering at numerous organizations, including Fellowship of Christian Athletes of Arkansas, Centers for Youth and Family, the Junior League of Little Rock, and the Little Rock Zoo just to name a few. She also worked for the Little Rock Zoo and Corporate Transit of America until her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Drew Friday (Jenna) and Griff Friday (Meredith) all of Little Rock; grandchildren, Herschel and Hannah Friday of Little Rock; brothers, Roy Burks (Karen) of Rogers, Cecil "Bud" Burks (Sharon) of Little Rock; very special friend, Kimberly Page, of Dallas TX; special nieces, Vim Strack, of Corpus Christi, TX and Maria Lambert of Benton; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kitty Musticchi.
Services will be Tuesday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Jeff Price.
