Zelda Schraer

Zelda Pearl Hallmark Schraer, 96, gained her angel wings on June 4, 2015. She was born in Ward, Arkansas on April 11, 1919, to Mary Harp and Nathan Hallmark. She enjoyed the last thirteen years living with her grandchildren in Texas.
Zelda was blessed with a large and loving family. She was loved and will be deeply missed by her three grandchildren, Lisa (Troy) Hansen of Alvin, Texas, Cheryl (Kevin) Stork of Pasadena, Texas, and Michael (Christine) Schraer of Alvin, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Steven, Brittni, Corey, Stephanie, Amanda, Bradley, Cody, and Cortnee; and her four great-great-grandchildren, Alexia, Nathan, Grace and Abby. She is also survived by her brother, Melvin Hallmark of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and numerous nieces and nephews, along with a host of friends.
Zelda was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ward Schraer; her son, Roy Eugene Schraer; and fifteen brothers and sisters.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Butlerville Cemetery.
