Yvonne Ellen MacArthur

Yvonne Ellen MacArthur, 83, of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away April 22, 2023. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on July 19, 1939, to the late Clydia Collier.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard MacArthur; son, Doyle Howell; siblings, John Stanley and Jackie Polk; and grandson, Caleb White.

Yvonne is survived by her children, Dewayne Howell (Mary), Martha Jones, Cindy Howell, Lisa Lack, Linda Dillie and Lori White (Sean); grandchildren, Jimmy Howell, Julie Brooks (Mike), Jordan Howell, Brent “Bobby” Jones (Forenn), Nicole Howell, Diana Hyde, Eric Dillie (Kara), Jason Dillie, Connor White, Carson White, and Chance White; great-grandchildren, CJ Howell, Amarie and Annika Brooks, Cora Jones, Kadence and Triston Hyde, and Collin Dillie; siblings, William Stanley (Vivian), James Dunlap (Linda) and Carolyn Kuykendall (Mike).

Yvonne spent many years working at Timex, Maybelline and Kolor Print doing quality control. She has been the matriarch of our family for many years and there will be a very big hole in all our hearts. We are all so used to her telling us what to do that we aren’t sure how we will go about our lives without her.

Visitation will be held from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107).
