Yvonne Cerrato, 67, of Sherwood, AR, died March 14, 2007, at Baptist Health Medical Center, North Little Rock.
Yvonne was born September 23, 1939, in Searcy, AR. She was the daughter of Claude and Berniece Jones. Yvonne attended school at Sylvan Hills. She retired in 2000 after 25 dedicated years of service with American Excelsior Company. Yvonne was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Sherwood and a faithful believer. She was affectionately known for keeping the extended family ?on task? ? making sure everyone knew where to be and when to be there. Yvonne is remembered as a self-educated, avid reader who became a passionate advocate for higher education for her children and her grandsons.
Surviving Yvonne are her husband Eddie Cerrato of Sherwood; daughter Vikki Lynn Hanneman, of Oxford, MS; son Dean Cerrato of Boston, MA; son Chris Cerrato and his wife, Debbie of Sherwood; son Jody Cerrato of North Little Rock; two grandsons, Zac Cerrato and Casey Cerrato of Sherwood; mother, Berniece Jones, 93, of Jacksonville, AR; brother Merle Jones and his wife, Pat, of North Little Rock, AR; brother Kennith Jones and his wife, Gerry of Alvord, TX; sister Mary Lou Cordell of North Little Rock; sister Bette K Middlebrooks and her husband, Harold, of North Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Yvonne is predeceased by her father, Claude Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2007 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nelvin Crace officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 501-758-1170.
