Yolande Norman, age 81, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
She was born on January 24, 1940, in Hot Springs, the daughter of William Kitts and Verlah Elliot Kitts. On May 26, 1957, she married Warren Vell Norman, who has preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents.
Yolande was a Christian and a member of Lakeshore Heights Baptist Church who loved the Lord with all her heart. She is the founder of Needles, Splinters & Clay. She loved to crochet, play the piano and organ at church, work Sudako and cook for her family every Sunday. She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by three daughters, Vellinda Norman and her significate other, Pam McNatt of Irving, Texas, Deirdre Wright and her husband, Robert of Hot Springs, and Stacey Scott of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Samuel Scott, Brian Lookadoo, Jacob Lookadoo, Jeremiah Wright, Nathan Wright and Sarah Wright; eleven great-grandchildren, Addie Lookadoo, Evie Lookadoo, Haleigh Lookadoo, William Wright, Oscar Wright, Hatti Wright, Nora Wright, Aiden Wright, Rylee Wright, Cameron Wright and Gavin Pearce; nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, January 7, 2022, with Bro. Randy Kincannon officiating in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening.
Pallbearers are Brian Lookadoo, Samuel Scott, Spencer Hill, Shawn Garner, Robert Wright and Logan Hill.
Honorary pallbearers are Kindred Life, Dr. Janette Parchman and Beverly Hill.
