Wynema J Lowe

Wynema Lowe, 84, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024. Wynema was born April 6, 1940 in Shawnee, OK to Jason and Elsie (Midge) Neely. She grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Little Rock to attend Baptist Nursing School. She was proud of her work as an RN and worked as an oncology nurse for Dr. Eugene Taylor at Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic for 25 years. 

She was an active member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church and loved her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Vicki Lowe Dempsey, her son Ricky Young, and her brothers Bill Neely and Jim Neely.

She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 62 years Van Lowe; her son Mark Lowe; her granddaughters Stephanie Jeffers (Michael) and Vanessa Ketcher; her great-grandchildren Jordan Jeffers, Whitney Jeffers, Autumn Ketcher and Devin Ketcher;  sister-in-law, Linda Huckaby; and numerous other family members  and friends.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM,  Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at AR Memorial Gardens.
