Wren H. Freeman, 82, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away Friday, March 2, 2007. She was a member of Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene Church and worked in their Thrift Store. Mrs. Freeman enjoyed ceramics, sewing, crocheting, knitting, jewelry making, embroidery, gardening, hiking, fly-fishing, cooking, reading, and computers.
She is survived by her son, Alan 'Red' Freeman and wife, Mary, of North Little Rock; a daughter, Judy Benfield and husband, Jim, of Black Mountain, North Carolina; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robin and Betty Sue Hunter, Lark and Adelma Hunter; two sisters, Ramona Shepherd, Lorraine Cooper; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her very much. Mrs. Freeman is also survived by her special ?Baby Boy? Brother Paul Holderfield, Jr. and her extended family the members of Friendly Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Freeman.
Mrs. Freeman had requested that instead of flowers, funds be donated as memorials to the Friendly Chapel Church of The Nazarene, 116 S. Pine, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene with Brother Paul Holderfield, Jr. officiating.
