Woodie Nadine Gogus

Woodie Nadine Burnett Gogus, 78, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2023. She was born on November 1, 1944 to Woody and Genevieve Burnett.

She honorably served three years in the United States Navy. She worked for Windsor Door from which she retired after 31 years. She enjoyed scratch-offs, playing Bingo and going to casinos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gogus and her parents. She is survived by her sons, Brian Burnett (Tara) and Bradley Burnett (Carla); five grandchildren, Lisa (Jerry), Helen, Ashley, Tanner and Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Dalton, Jason and Hadley; four sisters, Orah Lee Chudy, Ruth Massuth, Jackie Stafford and Cynthia Mathisis; and other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 am Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court, LR.  Inurnment with military honors will follow at 12:00 pm at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave., NLR.
