Winnie Faye Greiner, 98, of Little Rock, passed away on May 11, 2009. She was born January 4, 1911 in Clinton, Arkansas, the daughter of Daniel and Minnie Griswood Miller. Faye was a member of the First Nazarene Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and retired from teaching with the Pulaski County School District. She was an expert gardener and seamstress and loved her extended family.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeannine Stokes of Columbia, South Carolina and Peggy Keyes of Little Rock; son, James Greiner and wife, Dee of Conway; step-daughters, Ernestine, Linda and Glendine; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Sylvan J. Greiner and Ernest Green, daughter, Donna Walters, eight brothers and sisters and one grandchild.
Visitation will be held Friday evening, May 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Plumerville, officiated by Rev. Tim Kellerman. Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o Carelink, P.
