Wilmeda Irene LaRue

Wilmeda Irene LaRue, age 90. of Arkadelphia died July 28, 2022 at Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  She was born on March 22, 1932 in Bonham, Texas to Robert DeWoody and Lula Kirksey DeWoody.

She worked at Wal-Mart in Arkadelphia for many years and was a cashier.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Claude DeWoody and John DeWoody; her sisters, Wanda Watson and Opal Mize.  She is survived by her daughter, Jan LaRue of Wichita, Kansas; sons, Eric LaRue of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and David LaRue of Denver Colorado; one brother, James DeWoody of Hope, Arkansas and numerous friends and relatives.

Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2022 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel, followed by services at 3:00 p.m. in the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel.
