Wilma Zeybel
Wilma Jane Brewer Zeybel was called to be with the Lord on February 8, 2012 in her North Little Rock home. She was born on April 2, 1933 in Grant County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alton Brewer of Pulaski County.
She graduated from Sheridan H.S. in 1950. After graduation, she moved to North Little Rock and worked for Southwester Bell Telephone Co. from 1950-1959. She married Lt Col. Henry L. Zeybel in 1959 and had on daughter, Karen Louise. She divorced in 1969. She worked for Arkansas Power and Light for 21 years, retiring in 1993. Tom Trickey of North Little Rock has been a long standing companion.
Always an avid gardener, she and her mother kept a large garden and donated much produce to friends and family. Living a Godly life was important to her and she attended many churches in NLR.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Lee Gage; two brothers and one sister, Harold Brewer of NLR and Donald Brewer and Bernadine Dorsey of Sheridan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00am - 11:00am on Tuesday, February 14 at Huson Funeral Home of Sherwood with funeral services being at 11:00am. Interment will be at Palestine-Jones Cemetery in Sheridan at 2:00pm.
