Wilma Earlene Morrison age 69 of Friendship, AR died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 while in hospice care in Hot Springs. She was born August 3, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Earl and Wilma Jones. She was a long time employee of the Arkadelphia Human Development Center until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her mother Wilma Hecker and a sister Mildred Kay Wall.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Gilbert Morrison, two sons, Charles Morrison of Hot Springs and Douglas Morrison of Conway, AR, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, four brothers, Jerry Jones of Friendship, James Saunders of Coal Hill, AR, Gene Saunders of Russellville, AR and Paul Hecker of Dover, AR.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, October 28 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in the Gilchrist Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.
The family would like to express a special thanks to her care givers, Sharon and Heather of Hospice Home Care, nurses, aides and medical staff.
