Willie Summers

Willie Bob Summers, Jr., passed away March 29, 2018. He was born July 14, 1956 to Willie Bob, Sr., and Helen Jean (Edwards) Summers in Morrilton, Arkansas.
Willie was of the Baptist faith and member of Riverview Baptist Church. He proudly served in the United States Army and was awarded the national Defense Service Medal and qualified as an Expert in M-16A1 Rifle and .45 Caliber Pistol. Willie also worked at Tennessee Valley Authority in the Fossil and Hydro Division.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Debra Summers of Harrison, Arkansas; son, Damon Aaron Summers of Kentucky; three daughters: Amanda Marie Summers of Kentucky, Jami Lynn Summers of Kentucky and Brooke Summers of Arkansas; several grandchildren; father, Willie Bob Summers, Sr. and wife Norma; mother, Helen Owen and husband Richard; step-son, Choya Harris and his wife Katelyn; half-brothers: Randy Dehart and wife Tina, Paul Dehart and wife Suzie, Patrick Dehart; half-sister, Scarlett Dehart; and a host of family and friends who love Willie and will miss him always.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 3, at Bethel Baptist Church, 901 E. Drilling Street, Morrilton, Arkansas. Funeral service with military honors, and officiated by Bro. James Mullins, will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
