Willie Frank Morse was born February 7,1937 in Lake Village, AR and passed away November 22, 2022, in North Little Rock, AR. His parents were the late Albert Clifton Morse and Alva Catherine Kelley. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Harold Morse and Wayne Morse, and two sisters: Margaret Morse Garrett and Virginia Morse Holt.
Willie lived in Lake Village until he was 7 years old then the family moved to Bigelow, Arkansas.
He met and married Phyllis Matthews on Dec 23,1961 in Pocahontas Arkansas. They moved to Gravel Ridge around 1966 and made that their home. They were married for 57 years until her death in 2019. Willie worked at various jobs during his life, he worked at the boat factory in NLR where he lost his index finger. He was a laborer for various construction company’s including Reimer Oaks.
Willie loved the Lord and his church family at North Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He was also a member of the Sylvan Hills Masonic Lodge. He loved to grow a big garden every year and he always wanted the best-looking yard.
He leaves behind two daughters: Tarrie (Wayne) Chaney and Kelly Marinelli; Grandsons John (Amanda) Chaney, Mike (Jenn) Chaney and Anthony (Danielle) Marinelli; Granddaughters: April ( Anthony) D’Allessandro and Kristina Marinelli; three great-granddaughters: Nikki, Jackie and Katherine Chaney; three great-grandsons: Anthony, Julian D’Allessandro and James Chaney.
He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a brother-in-law, Bud Holt and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Mathews and Eloise Morse; and a special niece, Brenda Hernandez.

Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Ward and Rev. Paul Rice officiating.
