Willie Barton, 78, of Little Rock passed away on March 7, 2014 at Parkway Health. Willie was born on April 24, 1935 in Shelbyville, Texas and retired from the United States Navy as Chief Petty Officer. He then worked for the Veterans Administration in Little Rock from which he retired after twenty-five years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; sons, David and Mark Barton of Little Rock; four sisters and many nieces and nephews; two granddaughters, Ashley Wilmoth and Michelle Williams; grandson, Jeremy Stuart; two great-grandsons, Anthony and Ethen; son-in-law, David Herrick and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Barton. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Wilmoth and his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 11 from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner of I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Graveside services with Military Honors will be Friday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
