Bill had many interests. He loved and was devoted to his cats Casey, Jerry, Brody and Charlie. He enjoyed fine dining, listening to music, wine tasting, photography and traveling. He took extended trips to China and Taiwan with Susan and Mike, and also floated on the Colorado river in the Grand Canyon. Bill especially admired Tony Bennet and a highlight for him was attending a birthday cocktail party for Mr. Bennet. Bill got to see him perform live in New York during this trip – a memory he treasured. Everyone always looked forward to Bill returning from his trips so they could experience his incredible adventures through his pictures and storytelling.
Angie Bell was a good friend that accompanied Bill to Houston many times for medical treatment. She and her friends introduced him to new things like rock concerts and a burlesque show. They had many outings that Bill enjoyed. He had a great sense of humor and even though he was usually pretty reserved he was open to new adventures and experiences.
Bill was intelligent, open minded, interesting, fun, and a loyal friend.
He will be greatly missed.
