William Zachary

William Claude "W. C." Zachary, Jr., 67, of Vilonia, Arkansas, was born August 19, 1947 at East Prairie, Missouri to William Claude, Sr. and Lois (Williams) Zachary, and he died Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served on the USS America during the Vietnam War, and was retired from the Veterans Administration. He loved spending time outdoors. He also loved spending time with his family.
W. C. is survived by sons Chris (Monica) Zachary and Doug (Brandy) Zachary; grandchildren Jordan Robertson, Sydney Zachary, Ethan Zachary, Gracie Zachary and Landon Zachary; sisters Barbara Jean (Lester) Sisson, Carolyn Hawkins, Julie Zachary, Claudette (James) Ransom and Lovina Bolen; and brother Jimmy (Patsy) Zachary.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roger Zachary.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Welcome Home Cemetery, Des Arc. Arrangements by Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home.
