William Woodall

William Earl Woodall, 81, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 20, 2021.  He was born June 29, 1940 in Hamilton, Mississippi to the late James and Allie (Smith) Woodall.

Above all else, William loved his heavenly Father.  He owned his own business selling televisions, furniture and appliances for over twenty-five years in Dumas, Arkansas.  William always made everyone laugh.  He was loved by all who knew him and never met a stranger.  William enjoyed spending time outdoors with family camping, mowing on his riding lawnmower, and traveling.  He had quite the collection of tools, with family finding eighteen drills when setting up for an estate sale.  William was a slow eater and savored every bite, often times doctoring special dishes up just right.  Listening to gospel music brought joy to his heart.  He was an amazing man and will be missed greatly.

Preceding William in death are his parents; and grandchildren,  Shandi, Justin, and Claud.

William leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of twenty-six years, Geralyn (Witt) Woodall; children:  Gena (Jackie) Goggans, Sheila (Brian) Heier, Kathy (Ken) Miller, and Jamie (Andrew) Wheeler; grandchildren:  Casey, Buster “Brian”, Chasity, Dakotah, Harrison, Ethan, and Grant; twelve great-grandchildren; and many more family members and friends to love William and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held 11:00 AM – Noon, Thursday, December 23, with funeral service, officiated by Bro. David Harris, following at Noon, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.  Burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
