William Winchell
William Carlos "Bo" Winchell, 78, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. He was raised in Morrilton by the late Hubbard and Nadene Winchell.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha. He is also survived by a son, William C. Winchell and wife, Reba, of Southaven, Mississippi; daughter, Linn W. Burns and husband, Jason, of North Little Rock; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother David Winchell; sister, Peggy Johnson; and his trusty companion "Little Lady." He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nita Sue Pieri, and brother, Jack Winchell.
Bo was active in The American Legion for many years, was a disabled veteran of the Korean War and acting as Department Adjutant for several years. He was also an avid golfer.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
