William Wayne Webb

William Wayne Webb, age 72, of Little Rock, passed as a result of asphyxiation during recovery from cancer surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Sadly, he passed one day past his 72nd birthday, on October 22, 2024. Born in Fort Worth, TX, on October 21, 1952, Bill was one of four children born to Norman and Anne Pearre Webb. He was less than one year older than his twin sisters, Beverly Jan Webb and Elizabeth Anne Webb. The three siblings remained close throughout their lives. Bill is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Anne Webb and two nieces, Stefanie Webb Cisneros of San Antonio, TX, and Anna Marcella Webb of Oklahoma. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, older brother David Vincent Webb, and sister Beverly Jan Webb.

Retiring from UAMS, as a Histology Technician, he was highly respected as a professional who excelled in his field.

Bill loved photography and traveling to England, Russia, Italy, and the world. He traveled to many historical sites, capturing those memories in cherished photos. Bill enjoyed music, history, penned many poems, and especially had a love for animals. He leaves behind his cat Shenan and his dog Bella. He recently lost his and Beth’s dog, Toby. Surely, they have been reunited in heaven.

A graduate of Little Rock’s Central High School, lasting friendships endured. He was still in contact with many of his friends. Bill was a friend to many.

Bill was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, where his father was the organist for many years. Friends and family are requested to share stories at his memorial.

A graveside memorial is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30th at 11:00 A.M., at the historic Mount Holly Cemetery, 1200 S. Broadway, Little Rock, AR. Bill will join his sister Beverly in eternal rest surrounded by the beauty of historic Mount Holly Cemetery, circa 1843.
