William H. Waldron, 61, of Little Rock, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Born June 18, 1947 in Pine Bluff, he was the son of James A. and Edna Boyce Waldron. He graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, and in 1978, established his business, Capitol Advertising Specialties. Bill was an amazing Dad, a loyal friend to many and always there when needed. He enjoyed woodworking, was an avid reader and gardener, an excellent cook and a master vintner. He was a canteen member and volunteer at VFW Post 9095.
Bill is survived by his loving companion, Donna Hartsfield; son, David Waldron (Anna) of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Suzanne Waldron of Little Rock; mother, Edna Waldron of Pine Bluff; brother, James A. Waldron (Elizabeth) of Little Rock; and his aunt, Ruth Butcalis of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by his faithful dog, Luna, and three grand-dogs.
There will be a gathering of family and friends to remember Bill's life on Friday, December 26 from 4-6 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CARTI, the Perryville Volunteer Fire Department or to a charity of one's choice.
