William Toland

William "Bill" Dixon Toland, 76, went home Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born on August 15, 1938 to the late Wallace and Mildred Lovell Toland. He is survived by his son, Chad (Beth) of Little Rock, his daughter, Heather Teague (Jeromy) of Conway, and sister Bobbye Lively of North Little Rock. He was a proud grandpa of Matthew, Gracen, Lauren, Darian, Skylar, Saige, and Millie. He is further survived by nephews, Dow Lively (Libby), Bob Lively (Marilynn), and Larry Lively (Patty), whom he doted on abundantly before having children of his own by spending time with them and building them toys. He will be fondly remembered by a host of other family members and friends.
He was a master wood-nut as he referred to himself. He enjoyed nothing more than creating a something lovely out of a nice piece of wood. The North Little Rock Class of 1957 was a close second to wood working. He enjoyed a good story and big laughs were usually part of the mix in his stories. One thing was sure; you didn't ask if you didn't want the truth. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
Services will be held Sunday at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM followed by a visitation and time of fellowship for family and friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mert and Pat Davis, Lorna Campbell, Logan Campbell, Thomas and Jamie Andrews as well as the surviving members of the NLR Class of 57.
