William Thompson
William "Pete" Thompson, age 75 of Arkadelphia died Monday, Oct 31, 2005 in the Beverly Health Care Center. He was born Nov. 8, 1929 in South Central Community near Arkadelphia, the son of the late Roy and Lerla Bell Francis Thompson. He was a food services worker at Henderson State University cafeteria and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, David Thompson of Mayflower, AR, Jimmy and Jason Thompson both of Benton; three brothers, Roy Glen, Austin L. and Billy Ray Thompson all of Arkadelphia; one sister, Wanda Flowers of Gurdon; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005 in Richland Cemetery under the direction of Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 8-12:00 noon on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David, Jimmy, Jason, Austin G., Austin L. and Louis Thompson.
