William Tackett
William E. Tackett, Sr., 84, of North Little Rock passed away in Conway, Wednesday, September 17, 2008. He worked for Western Electric for 35 years where he retired and was a decorated United States Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Irene (Hambleton) Tackett, of North Little Rock; daughter, Liz Tyler (John) of Conway; sons, Bill Tackett, Jr. (Linda) of Atlanta, Georgia and David Tackett (Roxane) of Maumelle; grandchildren, Trey and Tori Tyler, Kristen and Steven Pruett, Clint and Beth Tyler, Kris and Marla Tackett, Kolby Tackett, Matt, Ben, and Jennifer Tackett; great grandchildren, Kayla, Beau, and Axel Tyler, Allie Pruett and Brody Tyler; brother, Phillip Tackett, of Greenbrier and sister, Alice Fitts, of North Little Rock.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest register at www.nlrfh.com.
