William Poe

William H. Poe, of Cabot, died Sunday, September 17, 2006. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and belonged to the Bear House Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mable Flemister, Irene Altwegg and Edna Stringfellow; one brother, John Poe. He is survived by his wife Helen Poe of Cabot; three daughters, Rita (Stan) Oliver, Karen (Barry) Cruz all of Jacksonville and Pam (Larry) McAllister of Benton; one son, Bill (Lesa) Poe of Cabot; six grandsons, James Oliver, Clay McAllister, Cole McAllister, Eric Cruz, Brian Poe and Corey Wheeler; one granddaughter, Alisca Oliver; two sisters, Mary Gibson of Little Rock and Flora Whitlock of North Little Rock; sister-in-law, Bobbie Fairless of Colorado.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Arkansas Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and
