William Daniel Passafiume, 86, of Little Rock, passed away March 16, 2014. He was born in Pennsylvania on October 25, 1927 and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ann and Ike Kashinsky, wife, Sue and daughter, Suzie Sears, he is survived by his son, Russell Passafiume and wife, Gay of Little Rock; brother, Richard Kashinsky and wife, Betsy; son-in-law, Steve Sears; grandchildren, Jennifer Piccino (Matt), Kelley Dague (Bret), Sarah Passafiume and Graham Sears; and great-grandchildren, Landry Piccino and Eden Dague.
William was faithful to his wife, country, family and church. He served as a deacon and elder at Hialeah Church of Christ, and was a board member of Atlantic Christian School in Miami, Florida. He loved his family dearly, especially Sue, his wife of 60 years. He served two years in the Navy and ten years in the Naval Reserve, and worked 40 years as an electrician in South Florida. He enjoyed doing small household jobs and remodeling, and got great pleasure out of making things for his family.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be Monday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m. at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Dora Children's Home, Mt. Dora, FL 32757-1017 and Timberlane Church of Christ Pre-School Dept., Tallahassee, FL 32312.
