William Odell Tabor, age 81, of Little Rock, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013. He was born on April 30, 1932, in Plainview, the son of Dewey Otis Tabor and Dollie Mae West Tabor. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of the Fouche Dam Baptist Church in Little Rock; a professional piano tuner and a gifted and talented musician who loved playing the piano, saxophone and guitar. He was well known for playing in several bands and for his church. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, W. Wayne and Elaine Tabor of Primm Springs, Tennessee and Michael O. and Patsy Tabor of Smyrna, Tennessee; one daughter, Janet Tabor of Knoxville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlene and Charles Boone of Weatherford, Texas and Verla Faye and Larry Bailey of Tualatin, Oregon; a special niece and his loving caregiver, Virginia Ghere of Little Rock; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 4, 2013, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. Bobby Lock officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be W. Wayne Tabor, Michael O. Tabor, Anthony Jones, Michael Wayne Tabor, Joseph "Joey" Tabor and Justin Ghere. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
