William Morris
William Lee "Mag" Morris, 74, passed away April 12, 2019. Born in Fresno, California to William Henry and Mildred Owanna Underwood Morris, he was a heavy equipment operator. He was an avid bluegrass musician, hunter and fisherman, and collected memorabilia.
Preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Clayton Morris, he is survived by his daughters, Tammie Sneed (Ted) of Bigelow, Lisa Johnson (Michael) of Quitman, Deanna Michau (David) of Alexander and April Morris of Roland; brothers, Eugene Morris (Debbie) of Roland, Jerry Morris of Little Rock, David Morris and Rick Morris, both of Bigelow; sisters, Judy Horsey of Little Rock and Sherry Uptain (Jerry) of Bigelow; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and his former wife, Stella Morris.
Visitation will be Monday, April 15 from 6-8 p.m. with services on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Al Richards and Rev. Melvin Clifford. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery off Highway 10.
