William Green

William Michael Green, 72, of Sherwood, passed away September 27, 2015. Born in Magnolia, Arkansas to John and Christine Green, he served in the United States Air Force as an F4 Phantom Fighter Pilot. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee and taught at Middle Tennessee. Mike was a professional farrier for thirty plus years and thought of his clients as his extended family. He was a member of the American Farriers Association.

Preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Shannon, whom he dearly loved, he is survived by his wife, Sharon Barker Green; sons, Tim Barker and wife, Ann of Elberfeld, Indiana and David Barker of Sherwood; and grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Allison, Autumn, Isabelle and Melissa

Services with Military Honors will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
