William "Scott" Goodman, 87, of North Little Rock, went home to His Heavenly Father on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014. Scott was a World War II veteran, owner of Goodman Insurance Agency, and was a member of Levy Baptist Church. He previously attended Cross Point and Pike Avenue Baptist Churches.
Scott was a member of the Masonic Western Star Lodge and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a Shriner, and a member of The American Legion VFW, and AARP.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maggie Goodman, his step-son, Randal Leon Moseley, and his siblings, James "JC" Goodman, Irlby Whitehead, and Maxellen Craig. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nina Jean Goodman, his step-son, Timothy H. Moseley (Nina), his daughter in law, Sharon Moseley, his grandchildren, Randy Moseley (Lori), Brandi Wooten (Brad), Heidi Wilson, Celia "Star" Chamberlin (Kevin), Timmy Moseley, and Jackson F. Scott Moseley, his great grandchildren, Parker Wooten and Liam Chamberlin, his brother, Paul Goodman and his sister, Helen Gorman.
Visitation will be held Saturday at Levy Baptist Church from 10 AM to Noon, with the funeral service at Noon at the Church. Burial will follow immediately at Edgewood Cemetery. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at
