Clyde Glover, M.D.

William Clyde Glover, MD passed away on March 24, 2022. He was the son of the late Jesse Clyde and Mary Elizabeth (née Hewitt) Glover. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School, the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. During his long tenure at Radiology Consultants, Dr. Glover was responsible for bringing the first diagnostic CAT scanner to the state of Arkansas.  He served for many years as a board member of the Baptist Healthcare System. He was a fellow of the American College of Radiology and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was a captain in the US Army Medical Corps. He enjoyed hunting quail and dove, fishing, and listening to classical music.  He was an award winning photographer.

Dr. Glover leaves behind Sally (née Tisdale), his bride of sixty-eight years, daughter Rebecca, sons Brooks and Brian (Veronica), cherished grandson, Atom, and his sister and niece, Mary and Connie Formby of Hot Springs.

He cherished the special friendship of Fay Wardlaw, Harley Fancher, Floyd Duke, Rheubin South, John Lane, Tom Digby, Mark Carroll, numerous bird dogs, and one cat.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Shell Alzheimer’s Center and the Healthcare Center at Parkway Village for their patient care of our loved one.

A memorial service for family members is planned. Memorials may be made to: Arkansas Alzheimer’s Association and Second Presbyterian Church of Little Rock.
