William Edwin Glenn, 83, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Born in Benton to John and Esther Grasty Glenn, he was a member of Parkview United Methodist Church and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Glenn; son, John David Glenn and wife, Karen of Benton; daughters, Susan Williamson of Lubbock, Texas and Mary Lawhon and husband, Hugh of Benton; grandchildren, Chloe Fratesi (Benny) of Pine Bluff, Billy Glenn and Jimmy Glenn, both of Benton; and niece, Sharon Harris (Mike) of Benton.
Services will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Parkview United Methodist Church, 514 N. Border St., Benton, officiated by Rev. John Alston and Rev. Burl Crabtree. Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
