William George Lisko of North Little Rock, Arkansas was born February 13, 1929 in Slovak, Arkansas, the son of the late George and Louise Lisko. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Marche and was a farmer in Prairie County until 1988. Later he went to work for the Diocese of Little Rock, retiring at the age of 75.
He was known for his ready smile and open heart. In his free time, Willie cherished his family time and dancing with his bride. Family always came first for Willie, and being a dedicated farmer no doubt enjoyed the reputation of having the prettiest tractor drivers in the county.
Mr. Lisko left this world at The Lakes Nursing Home in Maumelle on Thursday, December 17th 2020 at the age of 91.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Mary, one brother, Johnny Lisko and one grandson, Ian Patrick Dillon.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jeannette Hess Lisko; sons, Larry (Marie) Lisko of Little Rock, Chris Lisko of North Little Rock, and Tim (Liz) Lisko of Fairfax, Virginia; daughters, Pam Lisko of Ashdown, Charlene (David) Chwalinski of North Little Rock, Monica (David) Luneau of Conway, Regina (David) Ward Petal, Mississippi, and Della (John) Dillon of Maumelle; Twenty six grandchildren and thirty three great-grandchildren 3 brothers; Paul Lisko, Joe Lisko, Tommy Lisko and 4 sisters; Katherine Plafcan, Marie Hargis, Helen Henry, Betty Masingale and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock. Visitation will be at 10:00am with a rosary being said at 10:30 a.m. at the church. No graveside services will be held, burial will take place at a later date.
