William A. "Bill" Faulkner, 74, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2013. Preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Alice Whatley Faulkner and his brother, Bob Faulkner, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sarah White Faulkner; son, Bryce Faulkner (Paula) of Little Rock; daughters, Phyllis Faulkner Vance of Omaha, Nebraska and Jennifer Faulkner Davis (Scott) of Little Rock; eight grandchildren, Joseph Faulkner, Matthew Faulkner, Stephen Vance, Haddon Vance, Abigail Davis, Maggie Davis, Molly Kate Davis and Sophie Davis; and sister, Carol Cupples (Ricky) of West Memphis.
Bill was a member and Deacon of LifeWay Baptist Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a bricklayer for 50 years and belonged to the Pulaski Baptist Association of Rockbuilders. He was also a past President of Walnut Grove Cemetery Association.
Bill's family wishes to thank Dr. Brad Baltz and his staff for the wonderful care they gave Bill over the past years.
Visitation will be Friday evening, April 19, from 6-8 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.). Services will be Saturday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. at LifeWay Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Freddy Parker and Rev. Ed Hinkson, followed by interment at Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Homes, Walnut Grove Cemetery or LifeWay Baptist Church.
