William Fain

William Robert Monroe "Skip" Fain IV, 48, of Cabot, was born October 12, 1961, died September 13, 2010. He is survived by Stephanie Thornton Fain and Forrest Kyler Fain, their son of Cabot, and Skip's mother, Brenda Hackett of Clarksville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Fain.
Skip served in the United States Army for three years, receiving many awards. He was a retired corrections officer/substance abuse counselor. He also was an avid hiker and backpacker. Together with Forrest and Stephanie, Skip enjoyed camping along many Arkansas and Tennessee wilderness trails. In 1984 Skip hiked the entire Appalachian Trail with his dog "Precious." Skip's Bibles were worn and he believed that if a man's Bible was coming apart that that man was pretty well put together. He was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church of Cabot.
